"My passion is to help students broaden their minds to new knowledge, develop their own sense of purpose and find their place as a future leader to make a difference in the world."
I have taught for over 40 years at various institutions and levels including junior high school, high school and university. I have published in the areas of human resource topics, leadership, empathy and ethics. I have co-edited a book entitled "Organizing through Empathy," which includes a chapter on transcendent empathy co-authored with Peter Senge. My passion is to help students broaden their minds to new knowledge, develop their own sense of purpose and find their place as a future leader to make a difference in the world.

Some people might think online programs are the same as correspondence courses. In this online program, we have regular and meaningful interactions between the students and the instructor via synchronous and asynchronous media. Instead of merely submitting required work, I would encourage you to connect, share thoughts and learn from each other. It will be a learning community.
What is the one book you think everyone should read?
"The Fifth Discipline" by Peter Senge

When I am not with my students, I like to spend time with my animals, including horses, goats and dogs. My hobbies are riding horses and practicing traditional Japanese archery. I also like to be a voice for the voiceless and rescue animals in need.
